The Metropolitan Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying the man who robbed a TD Bank on Wednesday.
Police officers said the man was captured on surveillance cameras entering the bank in the 1700 block of Connecticut Avenue around 5 p.m. He walked to the teller’s booth with a note, and the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money.
The police department is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information on the case.
