A Gwynn Oak man was in Baltimore City Police custody until a bail review hearing in connection with the shooting of a 39-year-old man earlier this week.

Police said Charles Eric Parker was arrested around 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday, hours after the shooting of a man in the 1900 block of Kernan Drive. The injured man was shot in his upper body around 1 p.m. and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life-threatening wounds.

Parker and the shooting victim apparently knew each other and had an ongoing dispute, police said.
