A late-night crash in Dundalk resulted in the death of a 51-year-old woman crossing Holabird Avenue Tuesday, Baltimore County Police said.

Police identified the woman as Theresa Lynn Pingley of the 7200 block of Holabird Avenue, in Dundalk. Pingley was crossing Holabird Avenue just west of Stengel Avenue around 10:25 p.m. Tuesday when she was struck by a GMC Acadia driven by a 36-year-old man, police said.

Pingley was rushed to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead about an hour after the crash, police said.

The driver and a 23-year-old passenger were not injured during the crash and remained at the scene.

The County Police Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate.
