Baltimore County police continue to investigate the hit-and-run crash that killed 12-year-old Maria Popal on March 22, police said.

Investigators have obtained new surveillance footage from businesses around the accident scene. The footage has not been released yet. The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a 1990-1993 Honda Accord, police said.

The vehicle was seen in previously released surveillance footage and would have damage to the right passenger side, police said.

The vehicle struck Popal and her aunt crossing North Rolling Road around 9 p.m. on March 22. Popal’s aunt continues to recover at home after being released from Sinai Hospital, police said.

Investigators are hoping to get help from the public about the vehicle and driver through anonymous tips by calling 410-307-2020, police said.
