The head of the Baltimore Police Department’s recruitment section has been suspended with pay, police said.
Police provided no further details as to why Major Brian Hance was suspended. He had previously overseen the Southern District and Watch Commander.
Police said Commissioner Michael Harrison will take over recruitment.
