Baltimore County Police were investigating the death of a 62-year-old man at a Pikesville hotel last week.
On Thursday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the death of Kenneth Ernest Gellner, address unknown, as a homicide by blunt force trauma.
County officers were called to the Howard Johnson Hotel in the 400 block of Reisterstown Road, on Monday, March 25, just before 1 p.m. Gellner reportedly suffered cardiac arrest. The housekeeping staff discovered the unconscious man when they entered to clean the room. Medics pronounced Gellner dead at the scene.
