Baltimore County and Towson University Police departments were investigating the death of a 47-year-old man whose body was discovered at a Towson apartment complex.

County police officers said they responded to a 911 call around 9:43 a.m. Friday and found Dennis Joseph Buckley, 47, of the 6900 block of Donachie Road. He was lying on the ground unconscious and bleeding on the sidewalk in the area of 6900 block of Lachlan Circle, apparently suffering from trauma to the upper body, said medics.

Buckley was rushed to MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:38 a.m. Friday.

Investigators were treating the case as a homicide, officials said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.
