Two Baltimore men, a millennial and a baby-boomer, were in Baltimore City police custody Friday facing armed robbery charges in two separate cases.

Sheldon Eubanks, 54, and Darrell Carter, 22, were arrested earlier this week.

Police said Eubanks was arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Jan. 27 in the 1900 block of N. Monroe Street. Eubanks allegedly approached a person, forced him into an alley at gunpoint, and stole money before running away.

Carter was arrested for armed robbery as well as first-degree assault that occurred on Jan. 12 in the 2600 block of Polk Street. Police said he and two other men argued with a person. The man left a store as Carter and his friends followed. Once outside, Carter and his friends assaulted the man, dragged him into an alley, forced him out of his clothes, and took his wallet and cellphone.

Police said that warrant apprehension detectives were able to locate these two violent offenders because of the public’s help before they were able to make someone else a victim.
