Baltimore City police are investigating shootings that occurred within seven hours apart from each other on Tuesday.

The first occurred in the 1700 block of Frederick Avenue around 12:20 p.m., where police said they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the hip. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators believe the man was walking on the block of Fredrick Avenue when he was shot in the Western District, police said.

The second shooting occurred at approximately 7:46 p.m. in  the 3700 block of East Lombard Street, police said.

Police said two men, one 24 and the other 26 years old, suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg and gunshot wounds to the foot.

Officers were told that there had been a third adult male victim, also in the 3700 block of East Lombard, suffering from a gunshot wound to the body, police said.

All three victims were classified under stable condition at a local hospital, police said.
