A 51-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a domestic-related homicide in the 1700 block of Brookview Road in Dundalk, police said.

The suspect, Kevin Anthony Dipietrantonio, was charged with first-degree murder and held on no bond status at the Baltimore County Detention Center pending a bail review hearing, police said.

The Baltimore County police responded to the Dundalk address just after 6:30 p.m. for a possible homicide.

Police said a concerned family member called 9-1-1 from another location to report the incident. County officers entered the home and located the victim inside the bedroom suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper-body, police said.

The victim, 47-year-old Lynn Dipietrantonio of the 1700 block of Brookview Road, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect, identified as another family member, was immediately taken into custody, according to police.

Police said the couple had had several prior contacts with police that were domestic related incidents. They said offices believe that last night’s homicide was a culmination of their tumultuous relationship.

Additional information will be released later, police said.
