Shooting leaves 42-year-old man injured

A 42-year-old man was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment Thursday night, Baltimore City police said.

Officers responded to a shooting around 8:56 p.m. in the 3600 block of East Lombard Street, where police said they found the man with a gunshot wound to his back.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Citywide Shooting Unit at 410-396-2221 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
