Two men who were arrested during a traffic stop Sunday were suspected for the murder of a 37-year-old man, Baltimore City police said.
The victim, Santos Medrano, was shot and killed in the 400 block of Imla Street Saturday, police said.
Maryland State Police Troopers arrested Efrain Torres-Eusebio, 21, and Jose Santiago-Miguel, 20, on Interstate 70 before they were identified as suspects in the murder, police said. Baltimore police issued warrants charging them with first-degree murder, assault, and various handgun charges.
Torres-Eusebio and Santiago-Miguel are being held in Frederick while the Baltimore Police Department and Maryland State Police continue the investigation.
