Baltimore County police detectives asked on Tuesday for help in identifying a suspect in at least two commercial burglaries in two counties, Baltimore and Harford.

Police said the man concealed his face and broke into the Carroll Motor Fuels gas station and convenience store at Harford Road and Sunshine Avenue in Kingsville around 2:22 a.m. on Jan. 23. The store window was shattered, and surveillance video caught the man behind the counter stealing cartons of cigarettes. He fled on foot, police said.

A similar burglary in Harford County last year probably was committed by the same man, police said. Around 1 a.m. on March 4, 2018, police said a man shattered a window and entered the Royal Farms store in the 3000 block of Jarrettsville Pike in Monkton. Cartons of cigarettes were stolen, and the man fled on foot, police said.

Anyone with information should contact the Baltimore County Police Burglary Unit at 410-307-2020 or the Harford County Sheriff’s Office at 410-836-5427.
