A local man was was arrested Monday in connection with a shooting in the 600 block of West Redwood Street outside the University of Maryland Hospital, city police said.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at 7:15 a.m. and found a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his face and buttocks.
Jamar Haughton, 26, was charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and several firearm related charges, police said.
