A man was fatally shot Monday in the area of Pennsylvania Avenue and Dolphin Street in Baltimore, police said.
Officers were dispatched around 8:38 p.m. and found an unidentified male victim with apparent gunshot wounds, authorities said.
First responding officers found a loaded handgun in the victim’s possession, police said.
They said the victim was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
