A driver struck a pedestrian on North Charles Street late Saturday and left the scene before authorities could arrive, Baltimore County Police said Sunday.
Mzimazisi Ncube, 20, of Towson, was crossing the street south of Ruxton Ridge Road when he was struck by a Toyota truck, police said. Instead of stopping, the driver continued northbound on North Charles Street.
The impact knocked Ncube to the ground, where he was struck by a second vehicle. The second driver stopped at the scene and alerted police.
Ncube was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
