Baltimore County Police made an arrest Thursday after an investigation into a recent shooting in Essex.
Officers arrested Troy Peay, 18, in connection with the shooting. Peay was being held at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections.
The shooting occurred around 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 27 near Back River Neck Road, police said. Officers discovered a 34-year-old man suffering from a single gunshot wound and rushed him to a local hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.
Peay was charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and armed robbery.
