Woman’s body found in water

City police are investigating the deaths of three Baltimore residents, including a woman whose body was found in the Patapsco River on Sunday.

Southeast District officers used a police boat to recover the unidentified woman’s body around 1:25 p.m. near the 1600 block of Thames Street. The body was sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy, police said.

In the Northwest District, homicide detectives were investigating a shooting in the 3700 block of Belvedere Avenue that claimed the life of a 49-year-old man. Police said the shooting occurred around 2:55 p.m. and the man was pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital.

Also, police said a man was found dead in the 5600 block of Midwood Avenue.

The Baltimore City Police Department’s homicide detectives urge anyone with information to come forward.
