Baltimore County police on Wednesday were investigating a fatal crash in Owings Mills that claimed the life of a 21-year-old man and left two injured, one critically.

Kylek Larry Joseph, 21, of the 4600 block of Mews Drive in Owings Mill, and three other passengers were traveling east in a 2002 Acura TL when the car crossed a grass median and struck a westbound 2010 Cadillac STX. Police said the accident occurred at the intersection of Lakeside Boulevard and Wheelwright Drive at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Joseph was pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital. Two other passengers were rushed to a local hospital with one reportedly in critical condition, officers said.

The driver of the Cadillac was rushed to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

Crash officers were investigating.
