A 16-year-old boy was shot Thursday at some point after leaving his home at 10 a.m. to visit a nearby store in the Lochearn area, county police said.
The victim’s mother took him to a nearby hospital after he returned home with the wound. He is expected to survive his injuries, police said.
Police said they are still trying to determine how and where the shooting occurred.
The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating what happened and asks that anyone with information to call police at 410-307-2020.
