A man was killed Tuesday shortly after being struck by a car in the Northwest District of Baltimore, police said.
Police said the incident occurred at 1 a.m. when officers were flagged down in the 3300 block of West Coldspring Lane and discovered a 38-year-old man lying in the middle of the street, unresponsive, after being struck by a car.
The man was transported to Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead shortly after, police said. After examination, doctors noticed a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
