The Baltimore County Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify two men who assaulted a Walmart employee while trying to escape with a shopping cart full of stolen items.
Police said the robbers tried to leave the store at the 3600 block of Washington Boulevard on Oct. 15 at around 2:37 p.m. when a female employee asked to see a receipt for the items. One of the men, wearing a red shirt, struck the employee with a shopping cart while the other robber, wearing a black shirt, grabbed her arm and tried to push her out of the way. The second robber began choking the employee.
The men fled the scene with the merchandise and were reported getting into an older modeled dark colored four-door Nissan, officers said.
Police said anyone with information should contact the Wilkens Precinct Investigative Services Unit by calling 410-887-0872.
