A 19-year-old man was fatally shot near Taylor Avenue in Parkville Saturday night, police said.
Diamonic Reyshann Acca-Jones of the 7800 block of Beverly Avenue was found by police lying in the roadway suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound on Beverly Avenue around 7:20 p.m., police said. They said Acc-Jones was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival, authorities said.
Detectives from the Homicide Unit are continuing their investigation to determine the motive for this shooting. They ask that anyone who may have information to please call police at 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.
