A 17-year-old boy suffered wounds to his body after being shot Wednesday in the 900 block of North Lakewood Avenue, police said.

Baltimore City police said they found the youth when they arrived in the 2700 block of Ashland Avenue in the Eastern District at 8:27 p.m. The boy was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2221 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
