Man suffers gunshot wound on East Monument Street

A 59-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg Friday in Baltimore, police said.

Police said the incident occurred in the 2500 block of East Monument Street at about 12:48 a.m.

A police spokesperson said the victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
