30-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash on Reisterstown Road

A 30-year-old Pasadena, Maryland, man riding a stolen motorcycle was killed in a crash on Reisterstown Road near Cedarmere Road around 7:14 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Police said Joseph Lee Ray of the 200 block of Maryland Avenue in Pasadena, who was operating a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle, was traveling westbound on Reisterstown Road when he crashed into a 2016 Scion that was crossing the westbound traffic lane.  Ray ejected from the seat and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police said that the motorcycle was reported stolen from 3000 Hunting Ridge Drive in Ownings Mills on Aug. 6. Anyone with information regarding the stolen motorcycle please contact the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce at 410-307-2020.
