A 26-year-old man was arrested Monday after being linked to a shooting that left one woman seriously injured and several other incidents that occurred in western Baltimore County, police said.

Police said the incidents started with an assault and theft at Comill Court, just after 7 p.m. yesterday.

Police said the suspect then drove a Ford Mustang to the 7400 block of Ricksway Road in Pikesville, where he fired shots through the front door of a home, striking a 66-year-old woman around 7:43 p.m.

The woman is currently hospitalized and is in serious but stable condition, according to police.

Detectives are working on linking the suspect to a shooting in the 9900 block of Tuscarora Road in Randallstown at 8:21 p.m. and a burglary at 9900 Shoshone Way, also in Randallstown, police said.

Police said they have also received reports on a firearm discharge at 4600 Talman Road in Pikesville around 8:45 p.m.

A Franklin Precinct sergeant found the traveling Ford Mustang on Reisterstown Road near Mount Wilson Lane around 9:01 p.m. Police said more information on the suspect will be given following formal charges.
