Man shot in Rosedale

A 30-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Thursday when he was shot around 1 a.m. in the 5400 block of Hamilton Avenue in Rosedale, police said.

Police said they were called to the 6000 block of Barstow Road after the victim was heard yelling for help.

The victim said a vehicle approached him as he was walking on Hamilton Avenue near Radecke Avenue, police said. According to police, the victim said someone in the vehicle shot him.

Both the victim and the suspect(s) fled the location, police said. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the lower body and was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting. Anyone with information on the incident or the suspect(s) is asked to contact police at 410-307-2020.
