City man arrested for 2017 fatal shooting

A Baltimore man was arrested last Tuesday for the alleged shooting another man November 21, 2017.

Garrett Smith, 47, of the 3900 block of the Penhurst Avenue was, charged with first-degree-murder, police said.

According to the police, Smith shot Dannie Mark Grant, 50, in the 3800 block of Oakford Avenue. Police said they arrived at the scene at 11:30 p.m. and found that Grant suffered gunshot wounds to the head. He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are asking the anyone with any more information towards the case to call 410-396-2100.
