Several people were displaced from their Randallstown apartment Wednesday when a gas explosion that originated on the second floor caused damage to the building, police said.
Police said no one was injured in the explosion at the garden apartment in the 3400 block of the Carriage Hill Circle.
The incident occurred at about 10:44 a.m. and has been determined to be an accident. Police said the building and other adjacent buildings were evacuated. BGE and a county building inspector were also called to the scene, police said.
The police are working with apartment staff to provide shelter for displaced residents, according to a tweet.
