Man arrested in connection with 2017 murder

MurrayA 25-year-old city man was arrested on Saturday and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last year, police said.

Police said David Murray of the 2500 block of Shirley Avenue was denied bail and is being held until his trial.

Kevin Bailey, 43, was found lying in a parking lot in the 4300 block of Reisterstown Road with multiple gunshot wounds when police arrived for a reported shooting on Sept. 22, 2017.

Homicide detectives identified Murray as the suspect during the course of their investigation and obtained an arrest warrant, police said. Murray was arrested at his home, according to police.
