Woman dies, four others injured in three separate shootings in Baltimore

City police reported five shootings over the past week, including one in which a woman was killed.

A 21-year-old male and 19-year-old female were shot at an apartment in the 2600 block of Loyola Southway Saturday at about 1:16 a.m., police said.

The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said.

The female was pronounced dead shortly after arriving to the hospital. The male remains in critical condition, police said.

Homicide detective assumed control of the investigation, police said.

In a separate incident, police said two adult males were shot near the 300 block of Broadmoor Road Friday at about 10:46 p.m., police said.

Responding officers located two victims with gunshot wounds. Both victims had non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The victims were transported to an area hospital, police said.

Last Friday, an adult male was shot at the 5200 block of Barbara Avenue around 3:15 a.m., police said.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment for gunshot wounds, police said.
