Baltimore County authorities are investigating a weekend accident in which two people were injured after a deer crashed into a car window on North Point Road in Dundalk.
Police said a 54-year-old woman was driving north in a Nissan Altima at about 8:44 p.m. Friday. Another driver traveling south on North Point struck a deer, hurling the animal into the windshield of the Altima, police said.
The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was Medevacked to the Shock Trauma unit of a local hospital. A passenger was rushed to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The driver that struck the deer was not injured.
The Baltimore County Crash Investigation Team is investigating.
