A pedestrian who was struck by a truck on Dundalk Avenue last month has died from his injuries, police said.

The 70-year-old man, Charles George Swigert of Holabird Avenue, was crossing Dundalk Avenue on Feb. 15 when the side mirror of a Dodge Ram struck him. The incident occurred approximately 100 feet south of the intersection at Center Place, police said.

Swigert was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he died just before 11 a.m. yesterday. The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team continues  its investigation, but police said they do not believe that impairment by either party played a role in the crash.
