Three shootings, two homicides in Baltimore

Baltimore City police are investigating shootings of a teenager and two other men that occurred within 45 minutes of each other in two separate parts of town.

An officer was on patrol when he found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds in the 200 block of N. Payson Street around 9 p.m. Wednesday. He was rushed to an area hospital where authorities said he died from his injuries. Shortly before then, around 8:10 p.m, officers arrived at the 3800 block of Oakford Avenue and discovered an unidentified man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

At 7:55 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Mount Street, and found a 16-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg. The man was rushed to a local emergency center for further treatment, police said..
