Baltimore County Police are searching for a balding, middle-age man with small tattoos on his neck in connection with five robberies or attempted robberies at Royal Farms and other convenience stores throughout the area during the last four days.

Police obtained a warrant last Friday for the arrest of Arick William Fleming, 55, who allegedly tried to steal cash out of a register at the Royal Farms store on Belair Road in Perry Hall, in the eastern portion of Baltimore. The would-be robber, described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds, fled empty handed around 7:21 a.m. because the cashier was able to shut the register’s drawer before any cash was removed, police said.

Shortly after, at around 7:52 a.m., police alleged that Fleming targeted another Royal Farms store on East Joppa Road in Towson. He fled the scene after successfully stealing cash from the register. Police said he has some facial hair and may be wearing glasses.

On Saturday, at around 4:28 a.m., the third incident involved another Royal Farms store on Philadelphia Road in Rosedale. Police alleged that Fleming threatened to kill two employees with a gun he had under his jacket. He fled on foot with cash from the register, police said.

On Sunday, police alleged that Fleming attempted to take cash from a Royal Farms store on Taylor Avenue in Parkville but was unsuccessful after an employee stopped him. His last robbery attempt occurred Monday at the High’s Store on Broening Road in Dundalk. Police alleged that Fleming managed to take cash from the open register after purchasing a drink.

Police speculated that Fleming will continue his robbery streak until taken into custody. The public should consider Fleming armed and dangerous and should not approach him but call 911 or 410-307-2020 immediately if they see him, police said.
