Baltimore City detectives are seeking the community’s knowledge about a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday.
Officers responded to a report for discharging at approximately 6:57 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Monroe Street, police said.
Police said they found no victims or witnesses when they arrived at the scene.
However, police said they located a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle at approximately 7:40 p.m., when officers responded to a report of a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital.
Police said that an earlier investigation revealed that the victim was shot at the 1300 block of North Monroe Street.
