Detectives are investigating the homicide of a Baltimore man that was committed on Tuesday evening.
Baltimore Northeast District patrol officers responded to a 9:18 p.m. report of a shooting on the 1600 block of Frankford Avenue, where they found 56-year-old John Townes Jr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The Baltimore City Police Department said Townes was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
