A Randallstown woman died late Thursday when she was struck by a Honda Accord while crossing the Barry Paul Road, Baltimore County police said today.

Regina Diane Howard, 57, of the 3400 block of Barry Paul Road, had just stepped off the curb and into the roadway around 8:44 p.m. Thursday when the Accord turned from Old Court Road and onto Barry Paul. The Honda driver stayed at the scene, police said.

Howard was rushed to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma in critical condition. She died hours later.

The accident is under investigation but officials of the Crash Investigation Team said they do not believe “that either the driver or the pedestrian was impaired at the time of the crash. “
