A Baltimore man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of a 41-year-old unidentified man days before Christmas two years ago.
Police arrested 42-year-old Steven Alexander Morton of the 1900 block of Ridgehill Avenue on Saturday after pulling him over during a traffic accident. Morton was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility, where charges were filed.
Police said the shooting took place on Dec. 22, 2016, in the 2400 block of Eutaw Place. When authorities arrived at the scene, a 41-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died.
A trial date has not been set, police said.
