Baltimore County Police are investigating the murder of a man found with multiple gunshot wounds inside of a house in the 3900-block of Nemo Road early Friday.
Monday Makonnen, 54, was discovered in the house on Nemo Road at 1:30 a.m. Officers said the initial investigation revealed that one or several people forced their way into the house while Makonnen was sleeping. They walked into the bedroom and shot him several times.
Makonnen was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Makonnen apparently was targeted because no one else in the home was harmed.
