An 81-year-old man died Thanksgiving Day evening following a crash on Paper Mill Road, police said.
Police identified the victim as David Joseph Lyons of the unit block of Warren Lodge Court in Cockeysville.
Police said Lyons died at Sinai Hospital after his 2006 Scion XA drifted off the roadway and struck a BGE pole west of Hunters Run Drive in Cockeysville around 5:36 p.m.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team responded and is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
