A 24-year-old man died Thursday after being hit by a vehicle on North Point Boulevard in Dundalk Tuesday night, police said.

Police identified the victim as Michael Alan Phillips, 24, of the 2300 block of Lodge Farm Road in Edgemere.

Police said Phillips was surrounded by family when he succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at R Adams Crowley Shock Trauma.

Phillips and an unidentified 38-year-old female were struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze as they tried to cross North Point Boulevard near Delmar Avenue around 9:19 p.m., police said. The female suffered minor injuries, police said.

Investigators said there was no crosswalk where the two attempted to cross. The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team is continuing to investigate the factors of the crash.
