A 27-year-old woman is dead after the vehicle she was riding in crashed into a truck on the 2300 block of Belair Road Saturday, police said.
The woman, who has not been identified, was a passenger in a Kia Sorento that was driven by a man who lost control and crashed into the rear of a parked flatbed tow truck. Police said the woman was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The car driver fled the scene, police said. Crash team investigators were working to identify the driver and to locate the deceased woman’s family.
