One dead, two injured in Baltimore City shooting

A Baltimore man has died from injuries suffered during a shooting Monday in the 5200 block of Fairlawn Avenue, police said today.

Winfield Parker, 51, was shot in the head around 11:01 a.m. Monday as officers rushed to Fairlawn Avenue after hearing several gunshots coming from the area, police said.

In addition to Parker, police said officers also discovered a 26-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body and a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg.
All victims were transported to a local hospital where Parker later died.

The identities and conditions of the other two victims have not been released.

Homicide detectives ask anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100 or to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup. Tips also may be texted to 443-902-4824, police said.
