Baltimore County police have charged a couple with multiple counts of automobile and vehicle thefts.

Charles Allen Fry, 39, of no fixed address, and Lauren Michelle Richardson, 30, of the 300 block of Hidden Valley Road in Tracy’s Landing, have been charged with multiples counts of theft, credit card fraud, and other related charges, police said.

Police said the couple has also been associated with charges relating to a string of thefts from autos at County parks.

The investigation first began on Sept. 28 when a woman found the window to her Jeep broken and her purse stolen, police said. Another similar incident occurred an hour later at Parry Hall Park. The second victim received an alert informing her that her credit card had been declined at Best Buy, police said.

Police said they stopped a reported stolen truck that was being ridden by Fry and Richardson on Oct. 11. Fry allegedly stole  the truck on Sept 24, police said. According to police, several other stolen items were found in the truck, including drug paraphernalia.
