A 73-year-old Cockeysville man died from injuries suffered in an apartment fire in the unit block of Athenry Court, Baltimore County Fire Department officials said Tuesday.
Theodis Pinchback, 73, was found in the bedroom of his second-floor apartment shortly after 2 p.m. Monday and rushed to Greater Baltimore Medical Center, where he died a few hours later. His wife, 77, returned home shortly after the fire and was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening medical issues, authorities said.
Baltimore County Police fire investigators said the fire began in the kitchen by accident.
