Man dies in Woodlawn shooting

A 26-year-old Baltimore man died Friday after he suffered gun-shot wounds to the upper body in the 5900 block of Talbott Street in Woodlawn, county police said.

Dangelo Quante Evans of the 3800 block of Greenmount Avenue in the Waverly neighborhood of Baltimore, was found lying on a path in a wooded area after police responded to gun shots at 11:40 p.m.

Life-saving efforts were made but the man later died at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, police reported.

Police said Evans was the intended victim. A suspect has not been identified yet, investigators said.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting are asked to contact police at 410-307-2020.
