City man charged with murder

ManArrestedMurderA city man was arrested and charged with first-degree murder Tuesday in connection with a homicide that occurred Aug. 30, police said.

Sean Morris, 28, of the 800 block of Wildwood Parkway, was apprehended by detectives in the 400 block on Font Hill Avenue, police said.

Morris was transported to Central Booking and Intake Facility, where he was charged, police said.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of North Woodington Road at about 1:57 p.m.  for a reported shooting on Aug. 30. Officers found a 40-year-old man suffering from gun wounds. Medics responded, but the victim was pronounced dead, police said.

Police said they later determined that the homicide occurred in the 700 block of Kevin Road.
