A 23-year-old man was injured Monday when he was shot multiple times outside an apartment building in Gwynn Oak, county police said.
The incident occurred in the 5900 block of Franklin Avenue at around 2:58 p.m.
Police said the victim was shot multiple times in the upper and lower portions of his body by an unknown suspect. He was later transported to a local hospital for treatment while police continue the investigation.
Police believe the victim was the intended target of the shooting and that there is no danger to the community at this time.
